Clear the Epicor Client Cache

Epicor sometimes loads an old form or throws odd errors after an update. Clearing the local client cache fixes most of these without reinstalling anything.

When to use this

Steps

  1. Close Epicor completely. Make sure no Epicor window is open.
  2. Open the cache folder. Press Windows + R, paste %LocalAppData%\Epicor\ERP and press Enter.
  3. Delete the cache folders. Delete the Cache and ClientDeployment folders. You will not lose any data — Epicor rebuilds them on next launch.
  4. Start Epicor again. The first launch is slower while the cache rebuilds. That is normal.

Note: If the error continues after clearing the cache, contact the IT / ERP support team — it may be a server-side deployment that needs attention.
